The Diploma of Aviation (Commercial Pilot Licence – Helicopter) is a 105-hour full-time program conducted over 35 weeks that is designed to provide you with the best possible start to your aviation career.

Domestic Student Handbook

To enroll in our full time course (Commercial Helicopter Licence – AVI50322), applicants must meet the following criteria:
• Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
• Year 12 completion, or AQF Certificate IV, or LLN assessment.
• 18+ at the time of application (CASA requirement).
• A valid Unique Student Identifier is required.
• Able to meet CASA aviation medical standards.
Students have the option to fund the course themselves or apply for a VET Student Loan (VSL). Our course is VSL-approved, allowing eligible students to access up to $94,207 interest-free, depending on prior VET funding usage. A gap payment may be required to cover any remaining tuition costs.

Start by submitting an inquiry online, by phone, email, or in person. Next, complete the enrolment application and provide the required documents. If needed, an LLN assessment will be conducted.
After review, students may attend a course consultation to discuss training and VSL options. Successful applicants receive an offer letter and, if applying for VET Student Loan (VSL), will complete the loan application.
Once finalized, students receive a confirmation of enrolment (COE) and induction details.
